2025 BBQ/Silent Auction
NCSA held its 3rd BBQ and Silent Auction on Monday, June 23rd. WOW, a very successful event! There were 115 members and guests in attendance. Our largest gathering ever.
Of course, it took a great team to pull this event together. Thank you to the wonderful Mary Kelly for working so hard on gathering, organizing and displaying all of the 45 auction items. Thank you to the Cookie Team and members who donated dozens and dozens of cookies. Kathy Nadalin, your skills and generosity in making all the fabric cookie bags is so appreciated. Those little Oreo Cookies were so cute!!
Of course, can’t forget to thank the Lunch Committee, Chub and gang that did the setup and take down and all the members that supported this event. John, great job on selling all those tickets.
Mr. Mikes once again supported this event with their generous support to our community by cooking all those delicious burgers. We can’t thank them enough.
The auction brought in $2,340.00 and the cookie sales $570.00. A great fundraiser!!
Again, thanks to everyone involved.
2024 BBQ/SILENT AUCTION:
NCSA held its second Silent Auction at our year end BBQ on June 24th. Record breaking attendance with 82 members and guests participating. Mary Kelly did a fabulous job organizing the Silent Auction with 56 items up for bidding. Proceeds from the Silent Auction totalled $2,457.50! WOW. She also introduced our first cookie sale, which went over very successfully. Cookies and bags were all donated by members and Elsie and Linda did a wonderful job organizing and this brought in $352.00!!
Mr. Mike’s BBQ, once again, was a big hit. Dave Halley did it again, serving us all delicious burgers and our lunch team provided salad, condiments and ice cream sandwiches.
To quote Mary Kelly - We are a team of seniors who are amazing, awesome and over the TOP!
2023 BBQ/Silent Auction:
NSCA held its first Silent Auction at our end of the year BBQ last June. Approximately 30 donated items were up for auction. Our members had great fun bidding and outbidding others on their favorite items. Only new items, gift cards and gift baskets were available. A BBQ lunch sponsored by Mr. Mikes was served after the event while successful bidders paid for and collected their treasures. This was a fun and successful way to end an active year at North Central Seniors Association.
Our members are looking forward to our next auction, to be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, along with our end of year BBQ. Stay Tuned!
